Do you spend hours endlessly looking for writing jobs? I'll let you in on a little secret....
Most people who want to hire a writer don't post the job on a job board. Most of them do what you do when they want to find something online. They Google for it.

Read my post on Get Paid to Write Online to find out how I use this to my advantage. Instead of trying to find writing work, I typically work to help it find me: Passive Writing Gig Hunting

Terrific new way to optimize your marketing, Dana! I'm going to try it. And you're right - they're not on Craig's List or any other list - they're right there on Google, doing a simple search.
Dana, I put a link up to you on tomorrow's post. Thanks again for a great idea!
Thanks, Lori :)
I like this mindset. most of us are pressed for time and anything that cuts down our workload is a help.
Another way to scare up writing gigs is to sign up for newletters that send these right to your inbox.
Thank you for all your excellent advice. As somebody who is looking to start a career in journalism all the information provided on your blog is highly appreciated.
